TESTIMONIALS

“Gypsy River...stars that ebb and flow, musically enticing the senses, flowing rhythmically and organically with such the most heavily sounds whether they are singing Uptown Funk or the sweetest obscure wonderful songs from across the globe.

We were thrilled to have Gypsy River headline at our festival wedding party; they were a resounding success, filling the dance floor and entertaining our guests throughout our special, magical wonderfully awesome day - best day ever! Thank you without end guys.”

Helen & Iain (Wedding in Alderley Edge)

“You guys were perfect. It was so clear how much care you'd all put in and my guests loved your music. Some of the guys at the party are seasoned musicians and they were very impressed - and they absolutely know what they are talking about.

I’ve had loads of texts, emails and FB comments with everyone saying how much they loved the music; things like ‘they absolutely nailed it’, ‘they made the party’, ‘I’ve never heard anyone cover such a range of songs’.

Such a heartfelt thanks to you all (and thanks for learning the Springsteen songs!)”

Janne (60th Birthday Party)

“We had Gypsy River play for both our grand opening night and our Valentines night and on both occasions they were fabulous!

They were very professional and easy to work with and they provided the perfect mix of songs to entertain our customers. We'll definitely be looking to book them again in the future.”

Ella Brookbanks, Manager at Suburban Green, Wilmslow

“I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for your beautiful performance - I wish I'd gotten to hear the full set!

Thank you so much for adding to the atmosphere and taking on the rain with us! You guys were flipping perfect! I hope you didn't get too wet!

Lots of love
Sallie xxx”

Sallie (Wedding bride at Dewsall Court)

"We loved having Gypsy River perform at our wedding; they helped make it a really special day.  They played during the ceremony and the drinks reception.  We asked for a couple of specific songs to be played during the ceremony - they were happy to oblige and nailed the performance on the day.  Otherwise we trusted them to put together a set from their extensive repertoire - the performances were top-notch and the songs fit the mood perfectly.

When you have a million things to organise on the day, Gypsy River were true professionals: punctual and quick to set-up and ready to perform.  They brought their own equipment and knew how to get the best sound performing in two very different rooms.

We loved Gypsy River at our wedding and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a fantastic live band at theirs."
